Back to Back Badger Region Champs!

Capital 18 Navy won the Badger Region Championship's 18 Open Division on Sunday which makes that two years in a row that Capital has laid claim to that title. 18 Navy defeated Milwaukee Sting 18 Gold 25-23, 18-25, 15-13 to take home the gold medal. In the quarter-finals, Capital 18 Red pulled off an equally impressive performance by defeating Wisconsin Jrs 18-1 team in three games. After being down in game three, 18 Red kept clawing back until they finally won 15-13. Unfortunatley, both 18 Navy and Red had to play each other for the second time on Sunday in the semi-finals where 18 Navy won a hard fought match. Congrats to both 18s team for finishing in the top four in the Badger Region.

Capital also had a tremendous showing from the 15 Red team who entered into the 15 Club division with the 13th seed and ended up tied for 5th. 15 Red showed great teamwork and fighting spirit all weekend. Great job girls!

18 Red = 3rd 18 Open
